How do I begin to explain Rick and Emily and just how amazing they are? Well, in 2005 when I first moved to Charlottesville I took a short term job at Banana Republic while I searched for full time work. During my time there I became friendly with this super nice and hilarious Boston Irish girl, Emily. Since then Emily has shaped my life in Charlottesville in so many, many positive ways. My husband and I even joined a softball team with Emily and her now husband Rick, who is just as hilarious and kind as Emily. They are a true love story and an remarkable couple. So of course when Emily asked me to help with her wedding prep and ceremony photography, I was thrilled to help! And I must say they put their hearts and souls into their wedding.
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Holy Comforter downtown followed by the biggest wedding reception bash ever at The Jefferson Theater on the downtown mall. I put my camera away during the reception to enjoy all the delicious food and drinks, but I’m sure there are breathtaking photos by the head photographer Dan Eckstein. Em and Rick, thank you for being you. I hope you and everyone else enjoy some of your photos here on my blog.
