When I look back at family photos from the 1940’s, I notice how much portraiture has changed in the last 70 years. Gone are the days of stiff no smiles faces, and instead we have replaced that with more environmental portraits showcasing the personalities of each individual. Next week I will wrap up the Best of 2010 series with a video of some of my favorite personal images from the year. For now, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Kwanzaa! Remember to always keep a camera with you, as informal family snapshots are just as important as the posed ones. 🙂
