Last week I was thrilled to spend the afternoon with Jessica Foster Confections photographing (and tasting!) some of her new creations. Getting into the Halloween spirit, we started with her Pumpkin Bonbons filled with teased pepitas and sea salt caramel. (Check out my other post featuring Jessica Foster’s Valentine’s Day chocolates.)
Continuing with the caramel theme, we then worked with her Sea Salt Caramels, naturally flavored with honey and fleur de sel. Add a stick and Santa Barbara Farmers Market apples to the scenario…you get one heavenly fall treat with her Caramel Apples!
Next we moved on to her brand new homemade S’mores. HOLYYYYY…COW! Homemade graham crackers…homemade chocolate…homemade marshmallows, is your mouth watering yet? I know mine is! Talk about an amazing idea for wedding guests at your reception!
Luckily I hadn’t yet gone into diabetic shock when we moved on to her thick and creamy Hot Coco. Made with fresh cream and milk along with her homemade chocolate and topped off with her amazing homemade marshmallows, it was like drinking a delicious chocolate bar. Jessica offers this coco in traditional chocolate as well as a spicy version flavored with natural dried chilies. Talk about another amazing wedding reception idea, especially now as we head into fall!
Last, but certainly not least, we worked with her Dark Chocolate Rosemary Truffle. Dark chocolate ganache infused with fresh rosemary, dipped in bittersweet chocolate and rolled in vanilla scented sugar…come on, your mouth must be watering by now!
I hope you enjoyed my photos of these amazing treats, and they make you want to contact Jessica for your next chocolate fix!
