Hurricane Sandy ripped through the northeast over three months ago, yet it still seems like yesterday. As I sat here on the west coast I knew I had to do something to get involved. This lead me to open my Etsy store to sell some of my favorite Long Beach Island, NJ prints and donate 100% of the profits to the Salvation Army’s Hurricane Sandy Relief Effort. Thanks to all of those who have purchased prints so far, I was able to make a donation of $150 today! Prints are still for sale until April, so head on over to the store to check them out. I’d be more than happy to send you a print and make another donation to the Salvation Army. 🙂
While I am thinking about my dear Jersey shore, I would love to share with you a short documentary by my amazingly talented little cousin, Julianna Cossman, a Temple University student. The video shows their heartbreak for their own home as well as the massive devastation throughout the coast.
Thank you again to all of those who have donated their time and money to putting the pieces back together for so many families effected by Sandy.
