Following the holidays (and some gift cards from my loving family to my favorite camera shops), I felt the urge to invest in a new lens. I always feel like a kid in the candy store when searching for new gear (who am I kidding, I STILL get excited in a candy store too), and after some time searching I settled on the Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro lens. And I have to say it is AWESOME! Below are a few of my test shots since I got this beauty in my hands. I look forward to some beautiful close up shots of details at weddings as well as some gorgeous portraits with this ultra sharp prime lens. 🙂
