Had an amazing experience with Leah Valentine! She was so good with my 2 year old and newborn daughter! She captured the most genuine laughs. So easy to get along with! Felt so special! Love her studio and the treats and props and so much fun! Gorgeous photos I will treasure for a lifetime!

Can I just say WOW! Our photos turned out nothing short of amazing! And Leah was so kind and patient and made our 4 year old son smile and want to participate in the photoshoot. I loved that she sends you an information pamphlet that discusses what to expect, dos/don’ts of what to wear and do (like not having cracked nail polish for example or wearing certain colors/patterns). Leah was professional and didn’t miss a beat. She captured some beautiful pictures of our family. I can certainly say her photography skills are well worth the price and we will be using her again in the future for more family pictures. I would definitely recommend Leah Valentine Photography to anyone, she is professional, knows her way around a camera, how to get the kids to participate, makes you feel comfortable, has props, and the pictures come out fantastic. I really can’t say enough good things!

Working with Leah was such a pleasure! She’s so kind and professional and made taking photos at all three stages so quick and fun. She comes prepared with all kinds of props (if you want them) and is so open to your ideas or if you’re a new mom and totally exhausted, she’ll direct you too! Having newborn, 6 month and 1 year photos of our 2nd baby is so cool and now something I wish I’d done with the first. The album that Leah created at the end was like icing on the cake. I’m terrible at printing pics and she did all the work so I don’t have to. Thanks Leah!!

Leah photographed our family of seven, ranging in age from 6 mo. to 73-years-old. She definitely knows how to photograph children! She worked quickly and efficiently to get all variations in groups and poses. She made the experience fun, too. I would definitely recommend her!

My family and I have taken family photos with Leah twice this year and Leah is just awesome. She is easy to communicate with and patient and non judgmental with the kids and the parents! She makes everyone feel very comfortable AND brings things for the kids to help distract them and make them happy – how smart and amazing is that?! Leah was so great to work with for our wedding photography! She was amazing getting all of our portrait photos done before the ceremony so that immediately after the ceremony everyone was able to head to the cocktail hour/reception. We only have our sneak peek back so far but they have made us SO EXCITED for all of them to be available in the next few months! Extremely talented and very easy to work with; we would highly recommend to anyone in the Santa Barbara area!

I’ve put off doing a family photo shoot since my 4 year old was born, because it always felt like it would be super stressful. Leah, is a mom of two young children and she gets it! She chose a kid friendly location, and was so creative with the different photo opportunities. She engaged the kids, made them feel comfortable and let them lead a bit, so they felt in control. That enabled her to capture wonderful pictures in a short time and at very reasonable price!
